Meet Our Physicians |
| Augustus H. Hill, M.D.
|
|
Dr. Hill is a native of St. Louis,
Missouri. He fulfilled his childhood aspiration of becoming a surgeon
first pursuing pre-medical studies at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa,
attending medical school at the University of Missouri at Columbia, completing
an internship at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and finishing with his
surgery residency at Howard University.
He began his private practice in
1982 in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Dr. Hill is
board-certified in general surgery and was selected for admission into the
prestigious Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons many years
ago by demonstrating proficiency in advanced laparoscopic procedures.
He is presently the Chief of Surgery at Premier Ambulatory Surgical Center in Washington,
D.C. and the Metro Surgery Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. Dr. Hill, an
avid sailor who also enjoys non-water travel and skiing, is married and a
father.

Dr. Kamara was born in New York City. Although she
only has one brother, Dr. Kamara was raised in a large extended
Christian family, including parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and
cousins, which instilled true family values of love and respect.
Dr. Kamara completed her undergraduate studies at the
State University of New York at Buffalo where she majored in Biology.
Then, she obtained her doctorate of medicine from Howard University
College of Medicine and completed a residency program in Family
Medicine. Dr. Kamara is currently board certified in Family
Medicine.
Dr. Kamara has served as an ER physician at WHC at
Bowie Medical Center and at Southern Maryland Hospital Center.

She has worked as a primary care provider with Columbia
Medical Plan in Columbia, MD for 10 years and in Occupational Medicine
through Concentia Medical Services. Dr. Kamara
has been married for over 28 years and has two children and one
grandchild. She enjoys reading, music, working through her church
and of course, spoiling her grandson. |
